Day 1: Thursday, January 11
Departure from the U.S. for an overnight flight to Paris.

Day 2: Friday, January 12
Bienvenue à Paris! Paris is called the “City of Light” for its role as a center of education during the Age of Enlightenment (it was also one of the first cities to adopt streetlights). After settling in, immerse yourself in the local culture by practicing your French with painters and vintage book sellers along the storied Seine. Allow ACIS to welcome you this evening with a Welcome Cocktail Reception. Please note, as individuals arrive throughout the day, transfers from the airport to your hotel is not provided. (D)

Day 3: Saturday, January 13
Acquaint yourself with the beauty and history of Paris this morning with a half-day city sightseeing tour that takes you past some of the most famous attractions in Paris. Your expert local guide will show you the iconic Eiffel Tower, the magnificent Arc de Triomphe at the top of the Champs-Élysées, Napoleon’s final resting place at Les Invalides and the Gothic wonder of Notre Dame. You will also enjoy a guided visit of the Opéra Garnier.  This afternoon and evening are free to explore the city. (B)

Day 4: Sunday, January 14
This morning stroll through the Marais District on a walking tour followed by a guided visit to the Picasso Museum. Enjoy free time this afternoon before joining us for a fabulous farewell dinner. (B,D)

Day 5: Monday, January 15
Enjoy your final morning in Paris before your return flight to the United States. Please note, transfer from the hotel to the airport is not included. (B)
