Video Contest

ACIS is seeking video submissions from young travelers for the 2010 Student Video Contest. If you're ready to depart on your ACIS trip, don’t forget to pack your video camera!

Post your video to our ACIS YouTube page and you’ll be in the running to win some great prizes! Make sure to read our complete list of guidelines below. 6 entries will be chosen and proudly displayed on our website. • 1st Place - $500 to Amazon.com • 2nd Place - $300 to Amazon.com • 3rd Place - $200 to Amazon.com • 3 Honorable Mentions - $50 to Amazon.com

Guidelines

The Student Video Contest is open only to 2009 ACIS and Encore participants with birthdates after 1987 (traveling between Oct. 15, 2009 - August 13, 2010). All videos submitted must be the original work of the participant submitting them.

First, get tips on how to make and upload a great travel video! Sean Hanley's, "How to Guide"

1. Post your video on our ACIS YouTube page. Tag your YouTube video with “ACIS Traveler."

2. Send us a YouTube message to "ACIS2247" with the following information:

• Your full name and ACIS Account ID number
• Your school
• Your group leader’s name
• The name of your trip
• The name of your video

3. Your video should be between 3-5 minutes. Judging will be based on creativity and effectiveness in communicating the overall theme with specific experiences from your ACIS tour.

Future ACIS advertising and publicity material may include videos submitted to the contest. By entering the contest, you consent to the use of your video and video likenesses.

Deadline: August 13th, 2010. The winners will be announced on September 1st.
