Important Notice to MySpace Group Users:

To ensure you are aware of what's new on our page, please go to our Group, hit the Privacy button, and make sure that the two top buttons are selected so that you can view bulletins from our moderator or group members. Otherwise, the bulletins will not appear on your MySpace page and you might miss out on our latest contests and offers.

Also, please refrain from posting any specific information about departure/arrival cities or dates for your own safety. Any material posted that jeopardizes participants' safety or is considered inappropriate will be removed.

ACIS Statement on Social Networking Safety

We created this page after learning that many of our participants were already talking about their ACIS trips on social networking sites.  Our goal was to create a safe and fun place for students to share their interest in travel.

Here are the steps we have taken to make the ACIS Social Networking groups a positive one:

  • Anyone interested in joining the group must first be approved by the group’s moderator, who is an ACIS employee.
  • Group members are instructed not to share any specific details about their travel plans.
  • The group moderator monitors the site regularly to ensure that all comments are appropriate.
  • All suggestive advertising is prohibited.

ACIS understands that some school districts have policies discouraging students from using social networking and we will honor any group leader's request to restrict their group's access to our social networking sites.

“Everything was absolutely beautiful.  Especially the tour guide, who was brilliant and hilarious and made me want to be more responsible, develop an appreciation for maps,  and kept me awake on the bus!”
